i use D-link, netgear and intel NICS with 4 linux based servers and they all
run quite well...ive had no problems so far

What do people recommend as a budget NIC that can do 10/100MBit half/full
Duplex, which has decent Linux support?
Basically, suitable for a power-users home network. ^_^
