[plug] List domains and netiquette

I must say I agree with Christian, I think adding a second list will just
cause complication and if nothing else serve to split the PLUG community
in two.

On the other hand, I am unhappy about the number of people leaving the
list at the moment, so I agree something needs to be done.
If there is enough interest in a second list, I will set one up. However
there have been no comments other than Leon's and Christians. (Perhaps
because those people that might be interested in a flame-free list have
already left)

Agreed.. Moderated lists (whether per-post or using Leon's method) are
more trouble than they are worth, and should be considered a last resort.

Smartlist can be configured so that if the message footer already exists
in the message (ie it's a reply) it won't add it again.
