I have a need to send URL to the web from say the bash prompt and feed the data that is returned into a text file. All for the returned data is purely text with no graphics or the like. I presume this can be done pretty easily but have not a clue where to start. Is anyone able to suggest how to do this. Thanx, Mark Bailey
