Ditto for Linux plus Win98 (and VMWare) on my IBM i-Series ThinkPad; I
have had a trackpoint problem, though (mouse pointer veering wildly
around under Win98 and Linux) - not related to Linux, but apparently an
inherent physical weakness in the design.
