It shouldn't be true of any model - it's a fault. ::-( Maybe my mains
voltage was marginal to begin with. <shrug> Unfortunately, the
PC-Might's were old and secondhand so I can't get them replaced, the
APC only did it once.

All the same, it's worth keeping in mind that UPS'es primarily let you
control your power-related shutdowns, they don't enable you to avoid
them entirely. Some power cuts last for longer than they can deal with,
UPS batteries don't last forever and need replacing, UPSes can develop
faults like this, and someone can always trip over the computer -> UPS
cord as easily as a computer -> wall socket cord (or hit the power
switch).
