[plug] next meeting & kernel upgrade

does any  plugs members that are attending the meeting on the 14/11 live in
bayswater or drive down guilford road  be able to give me a lift to the meeting
so that I can join. ( have no car). Is the membership fee still $10?
I tried to upgrade my 2.2.14 kernal to 2.2.16 , all worked well but pppd failed
to work afterwards. also before upgrading my bogomips was 280 and changed to
over 500 . any ideas on what I did wrong.?( currently using mandrake 7.0 ) also
is it possible to get a copy of mandrake 7.2 , if so , how much is the cost..
