[plug] meeting + Mandrake 7.2

Hi

Due to injuries I am unable to attend the 14th meeting.

I have had Mandrake 7.1 installed on my Toshiba TECRA 8100, and it worked fine.
Prior to this I tried to install Mandrake 6.5; but when presented with the
Penguin and text login, the kboard would not respond.

When I did a new install of 7.2, I get the kboard locking problem again. So I
reinstalled 7.1, and all is OK again. I tried 'updating' my 7.1 with a 7.2
upgrade install, and even though I specified English (UK), it tried to install
English, then Portuguese, then Japanese and then .... I stopped it when it got
to Slovenian Gnome support.

I then tried full 'expert'  install of 7.2 (new not upgrade) and disabled all
but normal auto started stuff except for cron etc. Still got kboard lock.

Any suggestions?
