Pulled the card out fine.  No VGA signal (I'd expected that)
Put thecard back in, even tried a second slot. Still no signal (strange).   
Seems to have affected my network card as well as I can't ping it anymore 

The power leds are on so I know the machine is running.

Mike, where should I go now ????
