[plug] X cursor when switching from console

There is no attachment support in the default 'mail' program.  you can,
however, input the entire contents of a file into the body of the message...

mail -s "subject here" you at home.sleeping.com < /var/log/messages

For attachments, you'll need a script (eg. perl) with the appropriate tools.
