Hi,
 
We are in the process of moving our proxy server from one box to
another.

I have installed the latest squid rpm onto the new server and it seems
to have a few problems.  I elected to use an RPM due to the fact that I
had been explained that a default installation of Squid will work with
minimal changes to the squid.conf file.  I have made these changes.

It seems that Squid cannot resolve URLs.  It lets me see our intranet
pages if I give it the IP, but otherwise it gives me an error.  The
dnsserver is set-up and running correctly, but I am wondering if Squid
is ignoring/avoiding it.  I have even tried using the same squid.conf
file that was used in the previous installation to no avail.

Any pointers?
