Depending on who you talk to, thats not a problem, its a benefit :)
Are you planning on using the linux box as a server (eg file/print,
ip masqing etc)? If so, dont install X. Also, for a server, it might be
better to consider Debian rather than Redhat. redhat is more geared for
desktop use. It can be used as a server, Id just have more faith in debian
tis all.
If you wanted a desktop system, it would probably be easier to
reinstall and select 'desktop' install rather than trying to install all the
packages you missed.
