Oooh, forgot to mention -

The quick and easy way to install most of the "free" apps I mentioned on a
Debian Linux system is as follows:

# apt-get update 
# apt-get install task-koffice kmail balsa konqueror gnapster xmms xcdroast grip xanim gtkpool tuxracer freeciv gnucash xine gimp1.2

Now you wander off and do something else, and it will happily download and
install all the needed files without you having to think at all.

Isn't that nice? :)
