You cant afford us :)
Seriously, Im sure someone on list has the time and could do with
the money....
Just a word of caution tho: I hope that isnt your requirements spec
:) Setting up a linux server with sendmail and procmail seems to be what you
need... are you sure you dont want file/print serving? How about web proxy?
Full internet masquerading? Dial on Demand? What about maintenance?
People can be a little gun-shy of thin specs :) I know I am. Feature
creep can be cancer for any IT/Business relationship....
AFAIK, setting up mail with a service that is dynamic IP can be a
bit fiddly. Hopefully someone on list will have more experience with it than
I do (in fact, I have never even attempted to setup sendmail on my lan - I
just cant grasp how it could work if you dont have your own static ip and
domain pointing to it :)
Good luck!

Subject: [plug] Help with Linux Server
Hello everyone,
I had posted a few requests of help for installation of a Linux
server,
thank to those who answered. BUT I still seem to
have some
problems with it and hence this E-mail. I am looking for someone
with
experience in setting up a linux server withing a windows network
catering
for 17 workstations. The server is to act as a mailserver to the
outside
world and also for the organisation. It will basically check 17
mailboxes
every couple of hours with a dial up connection and then send the
mail to
the respective users on the internal network
Of course the time used to set up the machine and explain the whole
thing
to me will be paid for by the company. So if you please could send
me a
reply if you are interested to do this in the next couple of weeks.
Christian
