Well its certainly noticeably faster on my system than 5.2 and uses far
fewer resources.  Enough to have me use it in preference for word
processing and accessing MSword files sent form all and sundry.

If I was able to print from it I would probably abandon Office 5.2 for
WP and spread sheet work.

I had experienced some compatibility issues with sdc files saved by
SO5.2 and resaved by earlier builds of Openoffice.  These seem to be
fixed in  the recent 625 build .  I have had it open all day working on
a fairly large spread sheet no hiccups yet. 

Its getting there.
