[plug] RedHat updates- are 6.2 and 7.0 updates identical?

I have one machine running RedHat 6.2 and another running 7.0.  I've
noticed that the updates available for download on
mirror.aarnet.edu.au for 6.2 and 7.0 appear to be the exact same
files.  Are they the same?  Is it necessary to download the required
updates for both 6.2 and 7.0, or can the same update be used for both
versions?
