[plug] 2.4.x stability?

I just upgraded from 6.2 -> 7
And upgraded to 2.4.3 for the use of firewire. Ive had no problems with X
in the slightest, but i just cant get broadcast 2000 to hvae any luck
pulling video off of my digital video  cam.
