I'm not surprised.

The kind folks who built IIS helpfully supplied me with some special Code Red 
service pack pins. Following the pictorial instructions, I stuck the pins 
through the little blue cable thingy that joins the web server to the 
external router. Fantastic! My incidence of Code Red probes plummeted to zero 
immediately! You've got to hand it to the IIS development team! So 
helpful......
