As a geek who does both the software and hardware, and has done POCSAG
in several implementations.. I second, third and fourth the above comment.
All my microcontroller software is done in asm, always has been, always will
be. Takes about 6 times longer, and is about half the size and double the
speed of the equivalent written in C, and using a good commercial C compiler.
Take the development cost, and offset it against the savings of being able
to use a smaller/slower part in the production run of several thousand units
and asm wins EVERY time.. Thanks for playing..
