By the way my recommendation for these comes on the basis of "they are
cheap". Sure an Intel?3Com/Other Brand card maybe better but the
price/perfomance of theses cards is very good for a home network. Stiock
with 4 Com or Intel for a commercial network though.

I'm using both in my home network and have been really happy with them. The
cards are just a re badged Realtek 8139 and are supported under Linux.
