Paul,

Just tried that, with the same result.  The system hangs when it mount a
fat32 partition and then performs a check on it - something that did not
occur with RH7.1.  I think it has to do with the journalling system somehow.
When this happens, I have to boot from CD, go into rescue mode, and remove
the offending entry from the fstab file.  I'll keep looking, and thanks so
far.
