Im genuinly curious to see if there is a preference within this group.

Im relativly new to linux admin so i thought i'd ask people who know.

Don't know if you are trying to pick a blue, but..

It's like asking "which is the best car to go shopping and on holidays?"

There are many variables, like admin knowledge, security and
upgradability.

Most ppl here use debian for serious stuff, but some knowledge is needed
to 
make it work. OTOH, it is dead easy to keep up to date.
