Something for you win4lin users out there..
I have been using 98Lite http://www.98lite.net professional for a while now
on my desktop, as I like the 95 explorer and speed it brings..

(On my what used to be my second PC, while I still had a native windows box, Now I run
linux dual head, with win4lin on one head, and WindowMaker on the other)

I usually install 98 from a clean HD with 98 lite, and win4lin won't let me
do this.. so I installed 98SE complete under win4lin, then ran 98lite with the
/ng (no graphics) switch, which then allowed to me GUT 98 back to a level of 95.
This removes most dangerous things, like Scripting Host, IE and other space wasters.

I now have a machine which is faster and more stable, with the improvements that
98 brings, but with the size of 95.
The other thing I have noticed, using win4lin on my laptop with 95 installed, is that
I get 30-40% better battery life out of win4lin, than native windows, due to linux
HLTing the processor, which win95 does not do, so the unit runs cooler and longer..

Sounds like a sales pitch for Win4Lin really.. ;p)
