More recent kernel? Can't get much more recent than 2.4.0. -_^ (Yes, I know
2.4.1 is out now...)

I'll try Matt's suggestion (after RTFMing), and try fiddling with UDMA
settings. This is the first time I've really been UDMA/66 capable, and I
haven't experimented much yet...
