I run this and have for some time now ... you can boot it from a floppy into
RAM and it runs from RAM.

If you have a small HDD you can install it on that or just boot from the
floppy.

Subject: [plug] Basic Linux routers

Has anyone heard of any diskless routers?
Eg. A Linux router that can boot off an onboard pci card or something.
I am interested in building a basic linux router and in reality very little
space is required and 20 GB HDDs seems a bit of an overkill. A major concern
is expense obviously the main reason to do this would be to make it cheaper
to sell later.
