I have another problem: when my computer drops the internet connection, or the server at the ISP, the server tries to reconnect. I am using the ifup script to dial up to the ISP. How can I change it so that it does not try to reconnect, when the connection is dropped. Also what is the bet MTR/MRU setting and where can I cange that? Thanks Christian
