Hi Plug, firstly thanks to for the help regarding my security and partitioning arguement with my lecturer.

I have been trying to install first Debian Woody then Mandrake 8 on an
old Pentium 133 with 32mb ram and 1.2gig hdd with the following errors
on 3 occasions:
----------------
   Code Bad EIP Value
<0> Kernel Panic, killing interrupt handler! In interrupt handler -
not synching.
---------------
4% Ooops: 0000
Code: Bad EIP Value
<0> Kernel Panic, Aiee, killing interrupt handler. In interrupt handler
- not synching.
---------------
Have you any suggestions to clarify the problem and point me to a
solution please? (I have searched on the web, but not found anything
useful)
Thank you,
Daniel.
