[plug] cd-rom-less debian install problems

I've got a base debian install on a cd-less box and I have got apt-get
configured correctly.  However I am a bit lost as to which packages to
select in dselect to install the remainder of the system.  I am looking
to set up a text console server to act as mail, web, etc basically to
act as a gateway once I've got a internet link.  Is there a template I
can get from somewhere to drive the installation?
