Oooh yes - I think squid particularly can be a real monster, and the
default config of apache starts up about half a dozen instances which then
just sit around smugly going "Hah! Yes, I'm using your RAM. Whatcha gonna
do about it?" At least those two should be killed (or reconfigured to use
less resources if you need them).

Don't know anything about the others... but if killing squid and apache
doesn't help, trying killing some more. :)
