yeh, thanks, I have 'assign IRQ to vga' set to yes, I forgot to mention that
My bios doesnt seem to have a section for assigning interrupts, altho you
can choose if an interrupt is used for pci or isa. Weird
It also has a section (running from memory here) with 4 irq lines, which can
be selected 1-4 from memory. The manual doesnt even mention their existance.
Its an award bios, I might check for updates to see if I can gain
functionality. Otherwise, I might just start moving cards around to see if
the agp gfx card suddenly gets an IRQ. I dont have anything in PCI 2, cos
someone told me that the pci port closest to the agp port shares an
interrupt with the AGP... so Im a little stumped why my gfx card doesnt get
an irq, not even a shared one.
Anyway, Ill keep digging, thanks a bunch.

AFAIK, most of this can be BIOS options IF your BIOS supports said options.
Some allow you to specify which IRQ to use with which PCI slot. On the Video
IRQ issue, I think there's sometimes a BIOS option to "Assign IRQ for VGA"
or
similar.
In addition, you could try shifting your other PCI cards to different slots.
Often, some slots share an IRQ, and sometimes they share with the AGP too,
so
moving cards around can have different cards share different IRQs. Your
Motherboard Manual should/may have more information on this.
