[plug] Gnome desktop woes

I'm a relative newbie to unix desktop managers, so be gentle with me ;-)

I'm using Gnome, with enlightenment, on my desktop machine (RH 7.0, workstation
install).  I recently (no idea how) managed to get rid of the gnome icons and
I can't find how to get them back.  I can get the KDE icons, by selecting the
'rearrange icons' from the KDE menus, but they're nasty (no flamebait intended)
and they vanish when I log off anyway.

How do I get my icons back?
