Thanks for the input. I don't have any error messages???
Basically nothing happens at all...
No errors, no screens no nothing. I am trying to launch it from Gnome menu.
There was one error on red when starting and I think ti related to the
config of the server. As it flashed past it mentioned the server name?

Head banging only results in a sore head :-)
What error messages were you getting when you tried to
start linuxconf, and any other information you can spare :-)
