Hey Jason,

Yeah, they're ok !
So long as you've got line-of-sight access to their network towers you'll be
right. Since it's all microwave links (and I dunno how much you know about
that sort of thing) you've got to have a clear path, Microwave's distort
very easily.
I was setting one up down in O'Connor about 6 months ago and it worked
better during night time because of moisture and dew and the location in
O'Conner (Adams Street) is in a bit of a valley so the ducting 'cause by the
dampness was an added bonus !!

With the cost, RadioWAN provide you with a tower (if needed), xcvr unit,
microwave dish, decoder unit and a UTP Cat 5 socket so you can plug it
directly into your network. They have a coverage map on their website so you
can check if you're within range.
Service is well worth getting if you're willing to pay for that sort of
set-up and you've got a bit of money up your sleeve, very fast (but then
again what do you expect on a microwave link), uploads are free when I last
checked.

HTH

Kai
