You obviously get more legible line noise than I do.

I like perl and don't know PHP or Python.  Perl *is* more cryptic than a lot
of other languages - IMO even more cryptic than C, but it works, it's stable
and bery flexible.  If you learn perl, you can then do anything.  I don't
know how this stacks up with the other languages mentioned.
