[plug] Limiting processes resources

    Hi all,

    I was reading Russ' message about "Linux Locking Up" and then
I thought: This is happening because a program went out of control and
got all the memory, all the processor time or all the process ID's (i.e.
has too many childs).

    Quota does a good job for disk resources, but what about the other
resources?

    Is there a way of preventing programs to consume all the resources,
as explained above, of the computer?
