Hi all

Over the last coupla months I have been toying with implementing an "accounting
system" (I used the term loosely) in PHP/Postgresql. Part of this will be the
implementation of my own language (if people can remember me blathering on about
it).

The largest hole I have found in the 'free' software arena is a solid reporting
tool. Nothing exists along the line of Crystal Reports/Oracle Reports. I think
GNU have something resembling a reporting tool, but it is simple at best.

I would have thought that this problem would have been hit before by almost
everyone. Am I missing something?

How useful are the PDF functions in PHP? Would it be possible to write something
functional just based on these?

Is anyone interested in possibly starting something? I think its a big hole we
need to fill.
