[plug] Trying to install Red hat 6.2 on a new box

In the bios turn off dma,set to pio 0 etc to slow down the channel.  Do
the install and then set the channel back to auto.  There were some
emails on the Mandrake lists about a similar problem and it seemed to be
the install only, once installed, everything worked OK.
