Thanks, Matt.

Will try the source from woody first.  Hadn't thought of that but as you
say it allows me to continue with the Debian packaging system.  I suppose
the other thought is to just go straight to woody on the basis that, by
the time I have this thing up and dancing, woody might have become the
stable distro :-)  Anyway, one step at a time.
