Hi Chaps,

Is ddr memory really that much faster then sdram for linux kernel,
especially if there are a large number of tasks (ie. Much beyond 2nd
level cache size).

Ddr is about $100 more then sdram for 256 MBytes (incl m/board difference)
and I'm wondering if its worth it - though for Windows anecdotal
evidence suggests its much better...

? Comments, performance, reliability, refresh issues, m/board issues ?

rgds

Mike
