Not at all. Hey, a properly set up win98 system is immune to viri too.
Disconnect modem, ethernet, and remove floppy disk :-)
No seriously, check incoming attatchments, disable "helpful" features
like Visual Basic (esp. in eMail), etc, and you're pretty safe.
