This has me a bit bemused.
This has come about from a search using opendirectory
http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=redhat+linux
go to
www.badclicks.com/ in a browser (lynx or netscape)
now try
[carlos at b501f22 leftfield]$ telnet www.badlinks.com 80
Trying 216.226.146.214...
Connected to www.badlinks.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
GET / <---- Type this
and you get a completely different page (might i add a umm... sleazy one
too)
WTF?
There doesn't appear to be any page forwarding etc in the source returned
by telnet, and i find it difficult to beleive a pr0n site would give up a
hit to a browser.
Can someone give me a plausible explanation of this?
Thanks
Carl
