[plug] sshd and telnetd problems

Umm .. telnet doesn't like you to remote logging in as root and most
distributions deny this by default.

Recommended is to login as a normal user and then 'su' to root.

If you want to login directly as root, have a look at /etc/securetty and
'man securetty'
