[plug] X11 Fonts

G'day all

After spending 2 days playing with X4, standard and ttf fonts, I need to
say that normal (Un-antialiased) X font support sucks royally.
I'm trying to build a small X install for an embeded system, without needing
15 megs of fixed pcf font files, but the font support with ttf's is terrible.
I have tried both builtin methods of ttf and also xsftt, but the font scaling
just does not look right, and I can't make wine use the xrender extension for
fonts. The latest Openoffice does, and it looks wizzo :p)

On the ttf line, does anyone have an adobe helvettica ttf file?
I can only find the fixed fonts that come with X.
