[plug] Compressed filesystems

Looked at this a couple of years or so ago - ended up with vmware, win98
and virtualCD.  Once you have compressed a few CD's, you gain over just
using mounted linux dd images (especially is you already have vmware
installed!).  Only real drawback was its a bit slow!
