I'll agree with that, you're going to end up passing these mp3s onto your
mates, and they're gonna have/friends will have good sound cards, who'll be
constant scrutinisers of sound like myself (hehe, talk about bad sentence
structure! lol!). There's a whole heap of time that people always seem to
forget about and that's bedtime. Set everything to the slowest, most
paranoid setting possible and wake up to beautiful quality mp3s! None of
that 128 rubbish though, go for a good 192 onwards (mayyyyyybe a 160).
