I haven't seen a response to the insignificant part of the main question yet, 
and I'm feeling loquacious. LinuxAlien, have you ever seen Toy Story? (1 or 2 
will do). If so, you'll recognise a strange correspondence between character 
names and Deb distros. I think it's a conspiracy.......
