[plug] Postgresql & Mailing list

G'Day all,
    Anyone had any expirience with driving a mailing list from Postgresql? I
already have a fairly large database of members and the boss would like to be
able to email them based on state, membership type, etc. What mailing systems
are there out there that will drag data from a database?
