[plug] School Web Page

Hi all

I would appreciate your advice, comments, or opinion on the following
matter.

I run a computer business in the bush and one of the remote primary school
Principal's has asked me for some software for the kids to learn and
practise making Web pages with.

These pages will probably never get onto the Internet, unless perhaps I go
over there and FTP them up to their free space at Westnet. The idea is
simply to give the kids a bit of an idea how it works and end up with a home
page linked to individual kids pages which we can call up using a browser
and operate locally.

In other words, it is really just page design saving as HTML and using a few
hyperlinks.

In the interests of promoting Open Source Software, I was thinking of taking
Open Office 1.0 to the school and using the "Autopilot" feature in the Open
Office HTML Editor. .... what do you think?

If anyone knows of any user friendly Web building software suitable for
these kids, I would be obliged if you could let me know.

Many thanks
