[plug] Mozilla again

Hi

When I exited Mozilla the Mozilla Quick Start icon near the Windoze clock
was still active, as it should be. However, as I went about doing
non-Internet tasks I was aware of a lot of activity going on in my Zone
Alarm firewall display icon ... no hacker alerts, just a lot of data going
up (1.5 MB) and coming down (4 MB) and the little ZA lights were flashing
away.

I checked Zone Alarm to see what programs were active on the Internet and
found that Mozilla and Norton Antivirus were active (and the Norton was not
updating itself either).

After waiting several minutes for this frantic activity to stop, I finally
killed the Mozilla Quick Start icon and all Internet traffic stopped.

Can anyone tell me why this would be so? Why would the Quick Start program
be downloading heaps of data when the Mozilla main program is not even
running?

Kind regards

James Elliott
