If anyone is in doubt as to the authenticity of a message, then surely,
they can examine the full header for the route that the message took
from the sender, and compare the route with previous messages sent by
the same person..

The PGP signatures on a mailing list such as this, are simply a waste
of bandwidth.

Are we next goingm to have kerberos imposed on messages posted to the
list, to verify the identity of each message poster?
