Even if they don't arrive I think I'll wait until they do so I can take my time with it and learn from my mistakes, plus I'd like to avoid having to lug it around on the bus.

I'm hoping to be able to get KDE CVS built from source (done many times on my MDK box) on it by the end of the first weekend I have it so that will be what I gauge my success on.

Well even if they (the CD's) don't arrive in time. If you have a network card
in the box then you can install woody from the local debian mirror.

If you do bring along the machine then the more of it you bring the better.
There are spare VGA screen and AT keyboards BUT if you bring your own then
there is no waiting. Also if you're going to take the network install option
then the earlier you arrive the better.

Yours Tony
